When the House Goes Quiet, the Ringing Starts. I Checked 6 Tinnitus Supplements, and Only One Passed.
Lemon bioflavonoid caplets, a ginkgo-garlic-zinc formula, a 12-herb blend, even plain ginkgo. I bought six and worked out what each really costs per day. One prints two different daily doses, depending on where you look.

What 6 Tinnitus Supplements Put in the Fine Print
The TV goes off, you turn out the light, and there it is: a high, thin whine or a hiss that nobody else can hear. About 1 in 10 US adults, roughly 25 million people, had tinnitus in the past year, according to the NIH. So you search "best tinnitus supplement," and the results go on for pages. Tinnitus 911. Tinnitus Formula. Ear Ringing Support. Plenty of bottles put the problem right in the name.
Of the six I bought, three say tinnitus or ear ringing on the front. Cost per day ran from about 8 cents to $2.80, and pills per day from one to six.
I lined all six up on my kitchen counter and read the back of every one. No supplement is FDA-approved to treat tinnitus, so I judged them on things I could check for myself. Two hide their amounts inside a blend. One of the best-known names in ear ringing has you swallow 360 caplets in the first two months. And only one brand posts a lab report.
The one I'd pick is the bag in the middle of that photo, and it's the only one of the six that passed all three checks below. Every reason comes from a label or a public web page, so you can check my work.
Ringing that's new, in one ear, or in time with your pulse? See a doctor. Every bottle gets three checks: two on the label, one online.
The 3 Things to Check Before You Spend a Cent
1.
How Many Pills a Day? The Biggest Name Starts at Six
You'll take whatever you pick every day, probably for months, so the pill count matters. One a day is easy to stick with. Six a day gets old fast. LIPO Ear Ringing starts you on two caplets three times a day, six in all, for the first 60 days, then three a day after that. Arches Tinnitus Formula is four capsules a day, so a bottle lasts 25 days. Quietum Plus is two a day. Tinnitus 911's label says two a day, and its own website says one. Read the directions on the bottle, then multiply by 30 to see what a month really looks like.
2.
How Much of Each Ingredient? Two Labels Won't Say
Flip the bottle over and find the Supplement Facts panel. Every ingredient should have its own amount printed next to it. LIPO Ear Ringing puts choline bitartrate, inositol and a lemon bioflavonoid complex into a 1,000mg "Tisina Complex," with no amount for any of the three. Quietum Plus puts 12 herbs, maca root and Tribulus terrestris among them, into an 802mg "proprietary blend." If you can't see the dose, you can't compare one bottle with another, or tell your doctor exactly what you're taking.
3.
Can You Read the Lab Report? I Found Just One
A certificate of analysis, or COA, is an outside lab's report on how much of the main ingredient is in a batch. Without one, you take the label's word for it. Two brands say they test but name no lab or report, three make no outside testing claim I could find, and one posts its report for anyone to read.
Top 6 Tinnitus Supplements of 2026
I graded each one on those three checks, plus the cost per day, the warnings on the label, and what buyers have to say. Here they are, from the one I'd buy to the one I'd leave on the shelf.
1. ClarityMD Astaxanthin 12mg
by ClarityMD

A+
Overall Grade
Pros
One softgel a day: made to take daily, with 30 softgels in each bag
A well-studied antioxidant: a 2019 safety review of 87 human studies, 35 of them at 12mg a day or more, raised no concerns
Every amount listed: one ingredient, 12mg, no proprietary blend
Lab report you can read: Eurofins measured 13.6mg per softgel in the batch it tested
Clean label: GMO-free, gluten-free and dairy-free, with no artificial fillers or additives
142,000+ customers: 4.8/5 on the brand's site
About $1 a day: $29.99 a bag, up to 70% off with free shipping on multi-bag deals, and a 90-day money-back guarantee
Cons
Not for everyone: skip it if you have a shellfish allergy, and ask your doctor first if you take blood thinners
Subscription price: $29.99 is for auto-ship, which you can skip or cancel anytime. One bag bought once is $39.99 plus $4.95 shipping
The Verdict:
ClarityMD is the only one on this list I didn't have to make excuses for. If a friend asked me which of the six I'd spend my own money on, this is the bag I'd hand them.
It passed all three checks. You take one softgel a day with a meal, from day one. There's one ingredient, with the amount on the front of the bag: 12mg. The brand posts its lab report, so you can check that amount yourself.
That ingredient is astaxanthin (say it "as-tuh-ZAN-thin"), a red antioxidant from microalgae few people have heard of. Why is it on a tinnitus list? Your inner ear's tiny hair cells don't grow back, and researchers link oxidative stress to the damage loud noise and aging do to them, mostly in animals. Lab and animal studies suggest astaxanthin may help protect those cells from that stress. It hasn't been tested for tinnitus in people.
One bag lasts a month at one a day. ClarityMD says it's made in a CGMP-certified facility in the USA, and its site lists more than 142,000 customers and a 4.8 out of 5 rating.
The Bottom Line:
If you want one simple thing you can stay on every day for the long haul, this is the one I'd pick.
It's $29.99 a bag today, about a dollar a day, which is less per day than most of the options below. The multi-bag deals go up to 70% off, with free shipping.
And the 90-day money-back guarantee gives you three full months to decide. If it's not for you, you get your money back.

2. Ginkgo Biloba
by Nature's Bounty

A-
Overall Grade
Pros
One a Day: one capsule with a meal, 100 days per bottle
Single Ingredient: 120mg ginkgo leaf extract, standardized to 24% flavone glycosides
Lowest Cost: $8.49 to $14.64 a bottle, about 8 to 15 cents a day
Well Reviewed: 4.6 on 18,697 Amazon ratings
Clean Label: non-GMO, no sugar, soy, gluten, dairy or artificial colors
Cons
No Lab Report: none that I could find
Price Varies: the brand site doesn't list one
Bleeding Risk: ginkgo can raise it, so ask your doctor first if you take blood thinners
Seller Matters: its 60-day guarantee is for authorized sellers
The Verdict:
Nature's Bounty came closest to ClarityMD, and for a similar reason: it's one capsule a day of one ingredient, 120mg of ginkgo leaf extract, with every amount on the label. At about 8 to 15 cents a day, it's the cheapest bottle here, and it has 4.6 stars from 18,697 Amazon ratings.
It missed one check: its product page shows no lab report, and no testing claim tied to this bottle. Ginkgo can also raise bleeding risk, so if you take a blood thinner, or have surgery coming up, talk to your doctor before you start.
The Bottom Line:
If you want the cheapest one-a-day bottle here, this is it. You'll have to trust the label on the 120mg.

3. Arches Tinnitus Formula
by Arches Natural Products

B+
Overall Grade
Pros
Every Amount Listed: 240mg ginkgo, 300mg garlic and 15mg zinc per serving, no blend
Standardized Ginkgo: 480mg a day of a branded extract, Ginkgo MAX 26/7
Made in the USA: it says so right on the bottle
Kit Saves Money: 4 bottles, about $1.30 a day
Cons
Four a Day: two capsules twice a day
25-Day Bottle: $39.95 plus $7.95 shipping, about $1.92 a day
100 Days to Judge: the bottle asks for four bottles' worth
Mixed Safety Notes: a blood thinner warning, yet the FAQ says it interacts with no medication
No Lab Report: no testing claim I could find
The Verdict:
Arches builds its formula on ginkgo, with garlic and zinc alongside, and the label is upfront about all of it. A day's dose is 480mg of a standardized ginkgo extract, 600mg of garlic and 30mg of zinc, with no proprietary blend. It's made in the USA, and the 4-bottle kit cuts the cost to about $1.30 a day.
The catch is four capsules a day. A 100-capsule bottle lasts 25 days, and the bottle asks you to give it at least 100 days, which is four bottles. I found no lab report, and on Amazon the kit has 3.5 stars from 199 ratings.
The Bottom Line:
For ginkgo plus garlic and zinc, with every dose spelled out, Arches is the one I'd look at. You're signing up for four capsules a day for 100 days.

4. Tinnitus 911
by PhytAge Labs

B
Overall Grade
Pros
Every Amount Listed: 12 ingredients, each with its dose, no blend
Free Shipping: on every US order, even 1 bottle
Easy to Find: on its own site and on Amazon, where Subscribe & Save takes 20% off
Cons
Mixed Dosing: the label says 2 a day, the website and Amazon say 1
Pricey: $69.95 a bottle, $2.33 a day at the label dose, $1.33 on the 6-bottle deal
Read the Warning: the label says it's not for anyone with a heart condition or low blood pressure, and to ask a doctor first if you take blood pressure pills
Low Rating: 3.0 out of 5 on Amazon, with 34% at one star
BBB Grade F: New York profile, 6 complaints in 3 years (C+ in TX)
The Verdict:
Tinnitus 911 prints every amount on its label: five vitamins, including 100mcg of B12 per capsule, plus seven herbs such as hawthorn, garlic and olive leaf. Shipping is free on every US order.
The label says two capsules a day, and the website and Amazon say one, so a bottle lasts 30 days or 60 depending on which you follow. At the label dose it's $2.33 a day. Its Amazon listing says every batch is third-party tested but names no lab.
The Bottom Line:
A readable label, let down by mixed directions and a 3.0 Amazon rating. I'd pick one of the three above.
Results are based on the product's published label and marketing and do not necessarily reflect typical results from use.
5. LIPO Ear Ringing
by Lipo Flavonoid LLC

B-
Overall Grade
Pros
Most Reviewed: 20,547 Amazon ratings, more than any other here
Cheaper Later: about 63 cents a day after day 60
HSA/FSA: the brand says it may be eligible
Cons
Six a Day to Start: two caplets three times a day for the first 60 days
Hidden Blend: 1,000mg complex, no amounts
Hydrogenated Oil and Dyes: partially hydrogenated oil, Red #40 and Blue #1
No Lab Report: no testing claim I could find
Claims Challenged: in 2015, ad watchdog NAD said to modify or drop claims it substantially reduces or eliminates tinnitus
The Verdict:
LIPO, formerly Lipo-Flavonoid Plus, is the best-known name here: 20,547 Amazon ratings and 7K+ bought in the past month. After the first 60 days it drops to three caplets a day, about 63 cents a day.
It failed all three checks: six caplets a day to start, a 1,000mg blend that hides its amounts, and no sign of a lab report. The caplets also contain partially hydrogenated oil, and its Amazon rating averages 3.6 stars.
The Bottom Line:
It has the most reviews, and it gets cheaper after 60 days. I just couldn't get past a blend that won't say how much of each ingredient you get.
Results are based on the product's published label and marketing and do not necessarily reflect typical results from use.
6. Quietum Plus
by Quietum Plus

C
Overall Grade
Pros
No Subscription: one-time payment, so nothing auto-ships
Veggie Capsules: vegetable cellulose shells
Some Amounts Listed: zinc, B vitamins, L-arginine and L-tyrosine
Cons
Hidden Blend: 12 herbs share 802mg, with no amounts listed
No Single Bottle: the minimum is 2 bottles for $158, plus $9.99 shipping, about $2.80 a day
BBB Rating of D: 37 complaints in the last 3 years
No Lab Report: the FAQ says each ingredient is tested for purity, but no lab is named
Lookalikes on Amazon: other brands sell "Quietum Plus" there, so it's easy to buy the wrong one
The Verdict:
Quietum Plus is a one-time payment, with nothing on auto-ship. The vitamins and zinc outside its blend have their amounts on the label, and the capsules are vegetable cellulose.
The 802mg blend hides the dose of all 12 herbs, and several of them, like maca, tribulus and epimedium, are commonly sold for libido and energy. There's no single bottle, so the cheapest order is $158 plus shipping, about $2.80 a day. And the BBB gives the company a D, with 37 complaints in three years.
The Bottom Line:
Hidden doses and a $158 minimum put this one last. If you buy it anyway, buy from the official site, because Amazon has lookalikes from other brands.
Results are based on the product's published label and marketing and do not necessarily reflect typical results from use.
The Only One to Pass All 3 Checks: ClarityMD
After six labels and a spreadsheet of cost per day, one brand checked every box:
One softgel a day (Arches asks for four, LIPO starts at six)
Every amount listed (one ingredient, 12mg, no proprietary blend)
Lab report posted (13.6mg per softgel tested)
Made in a US CGMP facility (per the brand)
One bag to start (where one rival's smallest order is two bottles for $158)
90-day money-back guarantee (three full months to decide)
About $1 a day ($29.99 a bag on auto-ship)
That brand is ClarityMD.
Why One Softgel Beat 5 Others on My 3 Checks
Of the other five, four ask for two to six pills a day, two hide their amounts in a blend, and none posts a lab report I could find. One even prints a different dose on its label than on its website.
ClarityMD passed every check: one softgel a day, every amount on the label, and a lab report you can read.
It's named for what's inside: astaxanthin, an antioxidant that helps your body handle oxidative stress. Each softgel has 12mg, from microalgae. It comes with a 90-day money-back guarantee.
